Correspondence with Carl Zigrosser, 1921-1963, n.d.

Egmont Arens, industrial designer, and Zigrosser were life-long friends. Most of the correspondence concerns parties and family news, as well as inquiries and news about Rockwell Kent. Arens was the editor of Playboy: A Portfolio of Art & Satire, and several invitations to parties are on Playboy letterhead, including a party for John Gould Fletcher. There is a letter from London in 1921 describing the pleasures of the Ballets Russes, and others about camping trips the two took together. There is also an undated letter from Josephine Bell Arens, Egmont's wife, who was associated with the Washington Square Book Shop.
